Shropshire Gundog Society - Spring Working Test for AV Spaniels

The Shropshire Gundogs Spring Working Test  was held on Sunday 6th April at Sundorne Estate in Shropshire. It was a very cold and snowy morning on the day of the test at Sundorne Estate. Despite the cold, the dogs and their handlers were all eager to show what they could do and a good day was had by all. The competition was close in the novice class with Charliemont Master (Ms. Jane Holmes) taking the win. The open test was then held after a short break which was won by Yellow Hill Belle (C A Stracey). The Shropshire Gundog Society would like to thank all the competitors for entering and the judges (Mr A K Carter and Mr K Onions) for making the hard decision and choosing the winners.

Also the club and all the competitors would like to thank all of the helpers that made the test possible.

Plus a huge thank you to Mr J. De quincey for his kind invitation letting the club use his land to run the test. The land is perfect for running the dogs.

And finally everyone who attended the event would like to thank Mr Martyn Zielinski who is the clubs Field Trial Secretary for organising everything and making the day immensely successful and enjoyable for everyone.
